Discover Your Family’s Hidden Story Through DNA
Your Family Story
Your DNA carries the stories of your ancestors and the connections that link you to living relatives. With my friendly and professional online DNA match analysis service based in Buckinghamshire, you can make sense of your test results, uncover hidden family ties, and start piecing together your unique family story.

Whether you have recently completed a DNA ancestry test or have been exploring your results for some time, I guide you step by step, making the science accessible and the journey deeply personal.

Step One
I begin by understanding what you already know. You will be asked to:

-
Outline your family history: Names, dates, and locations you are aware of.
-
Set your goals: What you would like to find out.
-
Select your DNA matches: Choose which relatives you would like me to match.

Step Two
Before any commitment, I conduct a FREE online DNA match research check to see how I can help. If the results look promising, I will confirm your project details in writing with a fixed quotation. You will only ever pay for results.

Please note: some research may require birth, marriage, or death certificates, which are charged only at cost and ordered with your prior written consent.

Step Three
Understanding your DNA Matches
Once I know which matches to investigate, I:

-
Research family trees for your chosen matches.
-
Use DNA match results such as centimorgan (cM) values to determine how closely related you are.
-
Apply the rules of consanguinity to identify how these matches likely connect with your known family.

This combined analysis approach - using both genetic data and traditional records - helps me narrow down the most probable family link.

Things to Consider:

Investigating DNA matches is a fantastic opportunity for discovery, however the results have the potential to uncover family secrets and, in some cases, completely rewrite a family history.

You also need to be open to the possibility that the research might create more questions than answers, and due to the passing of time, there might ultimately be no way of getting all the answers.

Step Four
Delivering Results
About DNA & Relationships
Centimorgans (cM) Explained
A centimorgan is a unit of genetic measurement that describes how much DNA you share with a relative. The higher the number of centimorgans, the closer the relationship is likely to be.
Consanguinity Made Simple
Consanguinity charts show how blood relations link together. By combining the strength of a DNA match (measured in centimorgans), their family tree, and yours, I can estimate where a person fits into your family.
